Writing something here in this blog was very hard for me, because it was so focused on only one area of my life. Writing about my struggles with weight became too difficult for me to do here. If i had a couple of discouraging weeks in a row, it was really hard for me to get out of my funk.
So, i combined my life into one blog and occasionally have musings on weight loss successes and failures over at KnittyWhit .

On a roll...
Since the dd started kindy-garten this year, i vowed to get rollin' with an exercise program. However, i've had a bad case of p.f. and it's murder to walk most days. So, luckily i got a sweet bike for my b-day and i've been in love ever since.
Last wk, my hubbie was off work the first couple days my dd was in school, so we biked. One day we only biked a couple miles, but the next day we bikes 7. I think i might have biked another 6 or seven today. I biked from my favourite park (as old restored home here in So. King Co.) all the way to the nearest highway and back past my favourite coffee hangout. Although i miss my cookie monster terribly while she's in school, i do love the time to take pictures and hang out on my bike.

last ingested: turkey meatloaf sandwich on rye with tomato and fresh mushrooms, lots and lots of water.

The Steps To Success
Our leader gave us the list by a Mr. Hanfield, who i am sure is a doctor of something with a Ph.D., and anyway, the list was quite inspiring and follows:
1. Acknowledge the past
2. Use positive self talk
3. Remember your strengths (weigh loss is not THEE HARDEST thing you'll do--i disagree!)
4. Clarify your vision
5. set yourself measurable goals
6. visualise or affirm your goals and objectives (daily?!)
7. take action!
8. respond to feedback (if i gain weight this wk, what does that tell me to do differently the following wk.)
9. Perserve (persistance & failure cannot co-exist!)
10. Celebrate your successes -- I AM A POLICY HOLDER TO SUCCESS!!

Been awhile
It's been a few months, eh? The energy was channeled in other direction, than keeping up this blog, but at least the pounds stayed off.
Today, on Apr 1st, because it is such a silly day, i am reaffirming my committment to WW program!
It is not foolish to want more babies.
It is not foolish to want skinnier clothes.
It is not foolish to want to be healthier.
IT IS FOOLISH OF ME TO FEED THIS MOUTH MORE FOOD THAN IT NEEDS!!
So, today, i have done pretty well tracking and watching what i am eating. Only had one cup of joe. Haven't had anything for dessert for 3 days. And i ate a smallish lunch as feel full.
Bring it on!!!!!
Last weigh'd: 290.2
Last ingested: 5 Dr. Praeger's fish sticks, 1T. ketchup, a small Ambrosia Apple, and a cup of coffee.
